- Manage medical supply inventory and stock examination rooms appropriately.
- Prepare, order, and administer medications under physician direction and supervision.
- Assist practitioners with medical procedures and other patient care activities.
- Assist with pre- and post-procedure patient transfers.
- Provide support and assistance to patients and families.
- Schedule and reschedule appointments, including managing waitlists and offering earlier openings when available.
- Schedule follow-up appointments at checkout or document the reason when an appointment cannot be scheduled.
- Maintain compliance with HIPAA, OSHA, and other healthcare regulations and complete required annual training.
