Responsibilities

  • Partner with campus pastors and directors to integrate family ministry into each campus.
  • Build a parent equipping pathway for families at every stage; plan and lead parent gatherings, classes, and seminars, recruiting seasoned parents and elders to teach alongside the pastor.

  • Define and shepherd family milestones in partnership with the Discipleship and Care teams, including conversations about salvation, baptism, and the Lord's Supper.
  • Develop parent communications in partnership with the Communications team and connect new families to Covenant Kids, Covenant Students, and a group with the Assimilation team.

  • Provide pastoral care to families and partner with the Care Pastor, elders, and Counseling Ministry on complex or sensitive situations involving children and students.
  • Build evangelistic and discipling relationships with parents, children, and students; participate in weekly pastoral ministry rhythms, including staff meetings, membership processes, and assigned shepherding responsibilities.
