Requirements
- A minimum of 3 years of instructional experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- A recognized gymnastics certification, such as USA Gymnastics, Fédération Internationale de Gymnastique, or Deutscher Turner-Bund certification.
- Current adult and pediatric CPR/AED and First Aid certification.
- A favorable background check in accordance with Department of Defense and Air Force Instruction requirements.
- Must be at least 18 years old.
Responsibilities
- Provide professional youth gymnastics instruction for participants ages 18 months to 18 years.
- Instruct youth in gymnastics fundamentals, skill development, safety techniques, and injury prevention.
- Adapt instruction to varying age groups and skill levels.
- Maintain discipline and order during classes.
- Ensure equipment is properly set up, cleaned, and secured after use.
- Maintain required certifications and complete all mandated background checks and Youth Programs training.
- Communicate effectively in English with youth, parents, and Youth Programs staff.
- Submit proof of services rendered and comply with invoicing requirements.
