Requirements
At least 1 year of experience or training in TIG welding.
Must pass the TIG welding test.
Ability to read and understand blueprints, drawings, and job orders.
Ability to operate measuring devices such as calipers and tape measures.
Basic computer navigation and data entry skills.
Must be able to stand for at least 8 hours per day and lift up to 50 pounds.
Ability to work overtime when needed.
Responsibilities
Create quality welds according to blueprints and weld symbols.
Inspect welds for accuracy.
Prepare product for welding by grinding, drilling, milling, tapping, and cutting steel and aluminum parts.
Change wire, welding supplies, and gas tanks as needed.
Ensure all equipment is properly set up and used safely, with all safety devices in use.
Perform first-article inspections and subsequent inspections.
Record accurate entries in the time and attendance system.
Work flexibly within all areas of production at the facility.
Perform other job-related duties as necessary to carry out the responsibilities of the position.

Job Description: The primary responsibility of TIG Welder is TIG the welding of aluminum and steel parts in a variety of standard and custom jobs. Each job must be run with safety, accuracy, and timeliness in the welding area.
Responsibilities: · Create quality welds according to blueprints (weld symbols) · Inspect welds for accuracy · Prepare product to be welded by grinding, drilling, milling, tapping, and cutting steel/aluminum parts · Change wire/welding and gas tanks as needed · Ensure all equipment is properly set up and used in a safe manner, and that all safety devices are in use · Perform first article inspections as well as subsequent inspections · Record proper and accurate entry into the time and attendance system · Willingness to be flexible within all areas of production within facility. · Other job-related duties may be necessary to carry out the responsibilities of this position
