- A high school degree or equivalent is required.
- A college degree or commensurate experience is strongly preferred.
- The role requires accurate diagnostic coding for patient billing.
- The role requires maintaining accurate inventory and monitoring supply usage against the budget.
- The role requires receiving and carrying orders, opening and organizing boxes, and stocking the floors.
- Maintain, secure, and store all written and electronic records within the nursing center in accordance with federal and state regulations and the company's records management program.
- Perform accurate diagnostic coding to ensure appropriate patient billing.
- Create medical records for all new patient admissions.
- Perform routine audits of medical records from patient admission through discharge to monitor compliance with documentation, physician-visit, and timeliness policies.
- Maintain the electronic diagnosis list.
- Receive and carry supply orders, open and organize boxes, stock the floors, maintain accurate inventory, and monitor supply usage against the budget.
