- A bachelor's degree is required.
- Strong manufacturing experience is required, specifically in a non-union environment.
- U.S. citizenship or U.S. permanent resident status is required.
- Lead cross-functional teams in production, continuous improvement, and customer satisfaction.
- Serve as a key customer and supplier contact for problem resolution.
- Promote a positive climate throughout the manufacturing facility.
- Direct activities through subordinate Business Unit Managers to attain production goals related to safety, quality, delivery, housekeeping, waste elimination, and effectiveness.
- Support the Director of Operations in a large, multi-shift electronics manufacturing environment by providing leadership, developing and implementing strategic plans, and facilitating continuous improvement.
- Ensure plant activities support company and division goals and achieve profit, growth, and return-on-investment objectives.
- Provide leadership and direction through planning and coordination of manufacturing and related support departments to achieve efficient and economical production while maintaining high quality standards.
- Lead change and promote growth within the facility.
- Review and establish material, equipment, and manpower resource requirements.
- Ensure consistent application of policies and procedures throughout the plant.
- Coordinate and lead activities with business units, materials, engineering, quality, human resources, and other support departments.
- Assist in establishing budgets for departmental activities and manufacturing projects, and manage the department within established budgetary guidelines.
- Comply with and support health, safety, and environmental programs, policies, and procedures.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
