What believers are saying

  • Feb. 6, 2026 Aultman acquisition expanded Northeast Ohio reach and referral access.
  • Aug. 2026 Memorial Hermann joint venture deepened Houston scale and hospital-system integration.
  • Wilmington, Massachusetts expansion now serves New Hampshire and Southern Maine, widening regional coverage.

What critics are saying

  • Hospitals can internalize DME operations, squeezing DASCO unless contracts renew by 2027.
  • Joint-venture concentration rises; Memorial Hermann execution failures in 2026 would damage growth and reputation.
  • Medicare and commercial reimbursement cuts would crush rental economics and threaten the business model.

What makes DASCO HME unique

  • Aug. 10, 2026 Memorial Hermann named DASCO managing partner for home equipment operations.
  • DASCO runs 37-plus locations across 12 states, giving it multi-state DME scale.
  • Since 1987, DASCO specialized in respiratory and sleep equipment, not general DME.
