Carta Law launches fixed-fee Seed financing to rival $90K–$150K legal costs

Carta Law, the AI-native law firm for private capital, has launched Venture Financing, a fixed-fee service that handles Seed rounds from term sheet to close. The firm says it gives founders the speed and predictability of a SAFE with the protection of a priced round. Carta chief executive officer Henry Ward said founders shouldn't spend $90K–$150K on a standard Seed round. The flat fee covers term sheet review, cap table modelling, financing documents, securities filings, and post-close cap table updates. First drafts arrive within 24 hours, and an attorney reviews every deal. Carta says it processes about 75% of all VC priced rounds, drawing on more than 55,000 transactions. Antler, Techstars, and 500 Global are launch partners.

The Cap Table Plugin allows equity administrators to access ownership records and generate reports. Delta-v Capital, managing $1.6 billion across 28 funds, reduced compliance work from weeks to near-instant workflows.
