About the job

Requirements
  • At least 4 years of product management experience, with a track record of managing multiple products or features simultaneously.
  • Experience in fintech, lending, or financing products.
  • Demonstrated experience improving a weak or underdeveloped user experience by diagnosing root causes, prioritizing fixes, and shipping measurable improvements.
  • Roadmap-building expertise and the ability to turn ambiguous, multi-layered problems into clear, actionable priorities.
  • Competence in competitive and market research, with fluency in both consumer and business/customer sides of a product.
  • Ability to design, execute, and analyze A/B tests and data-driven experiments to inform product decisions.
  • Experience building analytics instrumentation and dashboards from scratch, such as Heap or similar, in a low-visibility environment.
  • Strong analytical and strategic thinking, and comfort making decisions with imperfect data.
  • Ability to align and activate cross-functional teams and clearly articulate roadmap strategy, progress, and tradeoffs.
  • Confidence speaking directly with contractor clients about product performance and its impact on their business.
  • Experience in agile or fast-paced environments, balancing execution speed with product quality.
  • Hands-on proficiency with AI tools to build AI-powered product features and create automation workflows that accelerate day-to-day productivity.
  • Ability to take ownership independently and manage up effectively with leadership.
Responsibilities

  • Bring financing expertise from both contractor and lender perspectives, grounded in competitor and market research.
  • Define success metrics for contractor engagement and hold the team accountable to outcomes.
  • Lead product initiatives across the full contractor journey, from onboarding through point-of-sale financing and document signing.
  • Create comprehensive product requirements documents that communicate requirements, acceptance criteria, and technical needs for engineering execution.
  • Partner with product, engineering, design, and account management to ship product improvements reliably and on time.
  • Drive contractor adoption and product stickiness by identifying and removing user-experience friction and bugs, and discussing product performance against contractors' business goals directly with contractor clients.
  • Design and execute A/B tests and controlled experiments to validate hypotheses about what drives or blocks documents signed.
  • Analyze experiment results and make data-informed decisions about what to scale, optimize, or stop.
  • Use a ship-and-learn approach, maintaining product quality while redirecting from underperforming experiments when needed.
  • Use AI tools and platforms to automate workflows across the contractor experience and operations.
  • Prototype and test product concepts with AI tools such as Claude and Cursor to validate ideas and communicate product vision to cross-functional teams.
  • Establish and own Heap metrics and engagement dashboards for the contractor experience, giving business stakeholders meaningful, frequent visibility into product performance and impact across the client base.
  • Use data to inform roadmap prioritization and identify where user-experience issues are reducing documents signed.
  • Report results and insights to stakeholders, pairing them with clear, actionable next steps.
  • Bridge product, engineering, operations, and client experience, aligning stakeholders around plans despite competing priorities.
  • Communicate roadmap strategy and tradeoffs clearly to executives and stakeholders.
  • Remove blockers and organize complex workflows, timelines, and dependencies to keep teams aligned and progressing.
Desired Qualifications
  • Experience in home services, contractor-facing platforms, or B2B marketplace products.
