Requirements
  • A minimum of two years of recent experience in a medical-surgical department.
  • Be a member in good standing of the OIIQ.
  • Hold a nursing diploma, either a DEC or a bachelor's degree.
  • Have current CPR certification and a compliant criminal-record check.
  • Hold a valid driver's license.
Responsibilities
  • Provide comprehensive nursing care, treatments, and clinical follow-up for patients hospitalized in medical-surgical units.
  • Apply the department's clinical procedures and protocols rigorously.
  • Manage administrative aspects of patient movement, including admissions and discharges.
  • Maintain patient records and effectively hand off clinical information during shift changes.
  • Rotate among day, evening, and night shifts.
