- Passion for working with and engaging young children.
- Availability on weekday evenings between 4 p.m. and 8 p.m. and/or weekends between 9 a.m. and 12 p.m. on Saturday or Sunday.
- Reliability and professionalism.
- An energetic, enthusiastic, and outgoing personality and enjoyment of working with children, parents, and coworkers.
- Ability to be playful, fun, and imaginative with children.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to interact effectively with children and deliver feedback to parents.
- High energy, physical fitness, and ability to coach soccer skills and games with young children for more than two hours.
- Availability to work through the summer and winter seasons.
- Coach soccer for children ages 2–5 and girls ages 6–14.
- Experience working with children ages 2–6.
- Experience coaching soccer and ability to work with both toddler and youth age groups.
- Experience with other young-child sports organizations, such as SportBall, City Camps, or Pedalheads, or soccer environments, such as Little Kickers, Timbits Soccer, or house leagues.
- Coaching certification such as Active Start, FUNdamentals, or Learn to Train is an asset.
