Salary Pay Range MinUSD $47,856/Annually.MaxUSD $71,772/Annually

This salary range is a good faith estimate of the expected salary range for this position, based on a wide range of factors including qualifications, experience and training, operational and business needs and other considerations permitted by law.  At NEU, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for the role.

Responsibilities

Provide high Quality Sales and Support for expanding Transatlantic business within the East Region:

Essential Duties:• Sales Initiation with Existing and prospective Trans-Atlantic Clients (30%)• Collaboration and coordination with Overseas and Branch locations (30%)• Quotation support for ER Trans-Atlantic Bus (30%)• Administrative Support for Regional Sales Activities (10%)

A. TechnicalI. Maintain industry and market database, files and informationII. Prepare and support client quotation. Bids and RFQ’s through coordination and data base creationIII. Communicate with customers to provide the information and/or seek information to assistIV. Customer service support for new and existing sales programsV. Active Collaboration with East Region Branches and Overseas offices to develop forwarding business.

B. General support and interface functionsI.  Day to Day interface between NEU East Region and NX/CP EU members for aligning customer requests and executionII. Create SOP for customer business and align with internal operations for understandingIII. Oversee specific customer requirements and ensure execution by branch according to SOP

IV. Create Customer KPI reports as needed

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalency certificate or significant or relevant or appropriate working experience. Some college desirable.
• Familiar with logistics concepts desirable
• Strong quantitative and analytical skills
• Strong computer and analytical skills – Powerpoint, Word, Excel

Physical Requirements

• Must be able to sit in front of a computer for long periods of time in an office environment. Must have manual dexterity to operate a computer key board as well as other office machines: e.g., calculators, photocopiers, printers, etc. Must have corrected vision to view a computer screen.
