The deal also includes a potential additional cash payment of up to $550 million if Maverick reaches certain performance targets. This move is designed to expand nVent Electric's product offerings for the data center market, especially power distribution equipment needed to support artificial intelligence (AI) infrastructure. As highlighted by Seeking Alpha, nVent Electric is well-positioned to benefit from the rising need for data center power and cooling. The company has a substantial backlog of about $2.5 billion to $2.6 billion, which represents confirmed future revenue from orders that have not yet been filled.
