About the job
- Previous experience in a hotel housekeeping department is desirable.
- Previous experience in a five-star property is desirable.
- Must be proactive and have a meticulous eye for detail.
- Must be dynamic, energetic, creative, and able to thrive under pressure.
- Clean guest rooms.
- Ensure there is a sufficient quantity of guest amenities on the trolley.
- Ensure work quality meets standards.
- Handle guest service matters.
- Follow the Lost and Found procedure.
- Stay aware of daily hotel activities and maintain product knowledge of all hotel facilities.
- Maintain proper grooming at all times.
- Arrange guest amenities, cleaning supplies, and clean linen properly on the trolley before starting work.
- Check and note all rooms displaying a Do Not Disturb sign before the end of the shift.
- Personally supervise end-of-day closing of the service area and ensure all equipment is appropriately stored and no hazards are left around.
- Communicate relevant information to the next shift or supervisor at the end of the shift or day to support smooth operations.
- Previous experience in a hotel housekeeping department.
- Previous experience in a five-star property.
