Responsibilities
  • Manage compliance activities to support environmental chemical requirements
  • Develop strategy for ongoing compliance
  • Manage reporting cadences for compliance and cost initiative
  • Leverage knowledge of global environmental and chemical regulations
  • Manage compliance and due diligence process for all products
  • Work closely with EHS, Commodity Management, Business Units, Legal, Engineering, NPI, etc.
  • Act as a subject matter expert in compliance for management and multifunctional teams
  • Be the point of contact to regulatory authorities and industry organizations
  • Create and drive internal chemical regulatory compliance programs
  • Monitor and keep abreast of relevant regulatory and similar developments
  • Ensure project and program objectives are defined and completed in accordance with requirements
  • Document all phases of project, program, and/or process development
  • Ensure effective utilization of material and financial resources
  • Work with other staff to maximize productivity for the project/program
  • Spearhead research and development of new technologies
  • Demonstrate depth and/or breadth of expertise in own specialized discipline or field
  • Interpret internal/external business challenges and recommend best practices
  • Lead small functional projects with manageable risks and resource requirements
  • Lead others to solve complex problems
  • Communicate difficult concepts and negotiate with others
