The Scheduler is responsible for executing all scheduling activities such as monitoring, managing, and updating for assigned projects, programs, or areas of responsibility, with a focus on reporting variance analysis. The scheduler will work with various departments and stakeholders to obtain schedule data and provide actionable reports.

Responsibilities

Assist with the development and maintenance of CPM project schedules
Analyze project schedules and provide reporting as required which includes earned value metrics
Assist with the preparation and presentation of results, alternatives, and/or recommendations to support business decisions, manage project costs and schedules, and mitigate potential risks to assigned projects and/or programs.
Involve and support change control and contract negotiation/claim management.
Support the implementation, analysis, and reporting of performance using established metrics
Assist with the preparation and development of project controls data request responses and work papers in supporting corporate/OU governance (e.g. Business Oversight Team and Capital Review Team), internal/external audits, General Rate Cases, and any pertinent regulatory filings.

Required Qualifications & Education

Graduation from a recognized college or university with a Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Engineering, or Construction Management OR
Graduation from a recognized college or university with a Bachelor’s degree in any course, but with additional two (2) years of experience in Construction Scheduling to compensate for the required education.
Minimum of five (5) years full time paid professional experience in Scheduling on power utility projects (substation, transmission, distribution.)
Proficiency in Primavera Latest Version and MS Office Suite
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Superior organizational and planning skills
Ability to build efficient working relationships with project teams and department staff
