Manufacturing Process Engineer
About the job
- A bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field is required.
- At least 3 years of experience in production planning or project engineering within a manufacturing environment is required.
- Proficiency in SAP enterprise resource planning systems and planning tools such as Microsoft Project or Primavera is required.
- Proficiency in the Office suite, particularly Excel, is required.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills are required.
- Ability to work cross-functionally in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment is required.
- Develop and manage detailed production plans and schedules aligned with customer delivery timelines and internal capacity.
- Coordinate with procurement, logistics, and engineering teams to ensure material availability and technical readiness.
- Monitor assembly operations, identify bottlenecks, and adjust plans to mitigate delays.
- Analyze production data and key performance indicators to improve workflow efficiency and reduce downtime.
- Collaborate with quality and compliance teams to ensure adherence to industry standards and safety regulations.
- Interface with suppliers and external partners to align lead times and delivery schedules.
- Prepare regular reports and updates for management on project status, risks, and mitigation strategies.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives, including lean manufacturing and 5S practices.
- Manage bills of materials and changes in SAP.
- Prepare project documentation, including work instructions, self-checks, process failure mode and effects analysis, process diagrams, and packaging documents.
- Follow up on online incidents using the incident register file.
- Control labels according to the current version through configurable management.
- Perform continuous improvement using tools and process-improvement methods.
- Experience in rail or sanitary systems is a plus.
