Job Details

• Contract Type: 12-month contract
• Schedule: Full-time, on-site (1 day WFH per week)
• Location: Tampa, FL 33607
• Pay Rate: $55/hour
• Work Environment: Cross-functional collaboration with security, infrastructure, and application teams

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the lifecycle management of digital certificates across the enterprise
• Administer Microsoft Certificate Services (deployment, renewal, revocation, auditing)
• Integrate certificate management with Active Directory and Group Policy
• Develop and enforce certificate policies, standards, and procedures
• Monitor certificate expiration and proactively mitigate service disruption risks
• Troubleshoot certificate-related issues across platforms
• Design and implement automated workflows for certificate issuance and renewal
• Provide documentation and technical guidance
• Support audit readiness and compliance with internal/external standards

Required Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with Microsoft Certificate Management (Active Directory Certificate Services)
• Strong knowledge of Active Directory, Group Policy, and domain architecture
• Experience with PKI design and implementation
• Familiarity with TLS/SSL, S/MIME, Smart Cards, and other certificate-based authentication methods
• Understanding of security frameworks such as NERC CIP or ISO 27001

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in regulated industries (e.g., electric utilities)
• Proficiency with PowerShell or other automation tools
• Familiarity with cloud-based certificate solutions (e.g., Azure Key Vault, Intune)
• Relevant certifications (e.g., Microsoft Certified: Identity and Access Administrator, CISSP)
