Requirements
  • BS degree in Engineering or technical field
  • Experience in manufacturing environment minimum three (3) years
  • Project Management skills
  • Reliability/Warranty Engineering experience
  • Broad knowledge of ISO9001 Quality Standard
  • Strong Statistical ability and experience
  • ASQ Certified Quality Engineer
  • ISO Lead Auditor
  • Lean Manufacturing and/or Six Sigma certification
  • Experience in the machining and/or mechanical assembly industry
Responsibilities
  • Serves as a mentor to other Quality Engineers
  • Manage and execute strategic projects related to Quality Assurance
  • Promote use of new technologies for innovation
  • Ensure developed products meet quality and reliability goals
  • Provide treatment process technical support
  • Mentor/train operators in quality assurance
  • Member of the Material Review Board
  • Communicate and resolve quality issues
  • Work on continuous improvement activities
  • Provide quality reports and review trending
  • Conduct failure investigations and problem analysis
  • Support Engineering, Manufacturing, Materials, Inspection, Distribution, and Product Development Groups
