  • Drive census growth with Sales by converting referral pipelines into admitted, scheduled, and served patients.
  • Use data and artificial-intelligence tooling to make daily resource-allocation decisions that convert top-line growth into bottom-line results.
  • Run daily execution across scheduling, staffing, clinical compliance, and service delivery, including dashboards, exception reports, audits, and real-time capacity management.
  • Own compliance, survey readiness, and clinical quality outcomes for the market.
  • Partner with centralized Technology, Compliance, and Operations functions while retaining accountability for local outcomes.
  • Hire, develop, and lead the market operations team, including schedulers, patient care coordinators, clinical managers, sales representatives, and field clinicians.

  • Set expectations, coach through structured routines, and make performance decisions when team members do not meet the standard.
  • Act as the feedback loop between field operations and artificial-intelligence and product teams.
  • Represent the market to company leadership by communicating what is working, what is not, and what support is needed.
  • Take over and transform existing operations, launch new markets, and lead post-acquisition integrations as applicable.
Desired Qualifications
  • Experience in private-equity-backed operating companies or multi-site service businesses.
  • Experience managing rapid growth, post-acquisition integrations, or turnarounds.
  • Military experience.
  • Multi-site or multi-market operational leadership experience.
  • Familiarity with artificial-intelligence-enabled operations or real-time operational instrumentation.

About the company

Fira Health is a healthcare technology company that runs as an AI-native home health platform. It automates back-office administration for home health using an AI-driven operating system and deploys a network of licensed clinicians (nurses, therapists) to deliver patient care. The platform handles tasks such as patient intake, revenue cycle management, and charting, with tools to flag eligibility issues before visits to minimize care and billing disruptions. Unlike traditional vendors that build software for agencies, Fira Health positions itself as the home health platform, combining automation with clinical delivery to achieve strong unit economics similar to software companies. The company aims to expand access to care by reducing administrative waste, drive value-based care, and consolidate fragmented regional markets through scalable, AI-powered operations.

What believers are saying

  • June 2026 brought $50 million Series A from Felicis and Bain Capital Ventures.
  • Adaptive entered all major Texas metros and plans rapid multi-state expansion in 2026.
  • OpenAI angels, Optum Ventures, and every major Texas hospital system validate distribution and product traction.

What critics are saying

  • Acquiring small home-health licenses across twelve states creates integration, compliance, and billing failure risk.
  • Medicare Advantage and Medicare reimbursement changes can crush margins before the planned Series B.
  • If Texas expansion stalls, Adaptive remains a single-market operator vulnerable to stronger incumbents.

What makes Adaptive Innovations unique

  • Adaptive runs AI-native home health operations, not software sold to agencies, since 2025.
  • It combines clinicians-in-home with automation across intake, documentation, referrals, and revenue cycle.
  • By June 2026, Adaptive reported 100,000 visits and 500+ referring organizations across Texas.
