Requirements
  • A bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or a related discipline.
  • One to three years of experience managing federal government contracts.
  • Demonstrated experience with or aptitude for artificial intelligence and/or technology-focused solutions.
  • Familiarity with the Federal Acquisition Regulation and Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement.
  • Hands-on experience with various contract types, including time and materials, firm fixed price, and cost-reimbursable contracts.
  • Ability to clearly convey contract terms and implications to stakeholders.
  • High proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and SharePoint.
  • Ability to work in the Rockville, Maryland office five days per week.
Responsibilities
  • Draft, negotiate, and manage contractual documents, including nondisclosure agreements, teaming agreements, prime contracts and subcontracts, and vendor agreements.
  • Create and maintain accurate contract records in the contract management database, ensuring data integrity in accordance with corporate policy and federal contracting requirements.
  • Ensure contract actions are executed in accordance with internal policies, regulatory requirements, and audit standards.
  • Leverage existing or identify new technologies to improve departmental efficiency and cross-functional workflows.
  • Stay informed about emerging artificial intelligence trends and other technologies related to contracts, and recommend strategies to improve functional tasks.
  • Prepare documentation and assist with or lead prime contract and task order kickoff meetings with internal program personnel.
  • Monitor subcontractor and vendor compliance, performance, and deliverables.
  • Assist with managing contract management tools and identify opportunities for automation.
  • Support ongoing internal audits, reporting, and other contract-related initiatives.
