Requirements
  • Must be able to commute to the Las Vegas, Nevada office three times per week in this hybrid role.
  • Previous experience in a customer service environment.
  • At least one year of experience in a high-volume inbound call center or contact center environment.
  • Experience with customer relationship management systems or workforce technology, including Salesforce, Medflyt, and Verint.
  • Ability to provide high-quality customer service using empathy, active listening, and patience.
  • Ability to organize, set priorities, and manage time effectively.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with active listening and adaptability to different personality types.
  • Ability to resolve issues over the telephone and successfully defuse and de-escalate frustrated callers.
  • Attention to detail when reviewing records.
  • Ability to meet or exceed targets and metrics.
  • Computer proficiency, strong typing skills, and the ability to use technology to resolve customer issues efficiently while taking notes and multitasking.
Responsibilities
  • Manage high-volume inbound and outbound service center calls concerning human resources inquiries, including time off, payroll, timekeeping, and employee health, and process patient and health plan care requests.
  • Follow up with patients, caregivers, and health plans regarding time-sensitive inquiries and escalations.
  • Maintain customer service quality as measured by call reviews and after-call surveys.
  • Accurately enter sensitive information.
  • Conduct telephone status reviews and record reviews to ensure caregiver service delivery and compliance.
  • Screen patients and caregivers for additional programs and benefits.
  • Maintain reliable work schedules.
  • Display empathy, actively listen, and communicate clearly with callers to address their needs and foster positive relationships.
  • Address questions and complaints, provide accurate and efficient resolutions, and consistently meet internal service-level agreements and goals.
  • Follow up and engage with patients and caregivers by phone, SMS, and email in a professional manner.
  • Serve as a key point of contact for enrolled caregivers regarding pay discrepancies, timesheet errors, direct-deposit changes, schedule changes, and related matters.
  • De-escalate dissatisfied-customer situations, provide patient assistance and support, and escalate unresolved issues to the appropriate teams.
  • Adhere to monthly client-service and compliance standards.
  • Enter and update case-file and account data in customer relationship management systems.
  • Manage call dashboards and reporting to assist with assignment management.
Desired Qualifications
  • Two years of relevant experience in a healthcare call center or contact center environment.
  • Healthcare or startup experience.
  • Bilingual ability in Spanish or another language.
  • Experience in a human resources service center.
