Requirements
- An MD or DO from an accredited medical school or foreign equivalent is required.
- Completion of a Urology Residency is required.
- The candidate must be licensed or eligible to obtain a Florida license.
- The candidate must be board-certified or board-eligible in Urology.
Responsibilities
- Work primarily in an outpatient clinic environment.
- Provide coverage for some outpatient procedures in an ambulatory setting as needed.
- Perform clinical activity through the University of Miami Medical Group clinical practice plan, including surgical activity at University of Miami Hospital and Clinics and/or other affiliated hospitals.
Desired Qualifications
- Proficiency with the EPIC electronic medical record system is preferred.
- Effective communication, sound customer service skills, and prompt responsiveness are essential in this role.
- Compassion, teamwork, adaptability, and high levels of professionalism are required in this role.
