Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Sales, Business Administration, Marketing or related field, or equivalent and relevant experience.
  • 10+ years’ experience leading a high-performing, customer focused sales team.
  • Experience establishing sales performance standards and KPIs across multiple complex sales channels.
  • An outstanding, progressive team leader who prioritizes workplace of choice and who builds culture of transparent, authentic team leadership focused on performance & accountability.
  • Experience within automotive sales and specific knowledge of GM sales operations across Chevrolet, Buick, GMC & Cadillac brand teams is an asset.
  • Previous experience in Energy Sales and Technology / SaaS sales across multiple regions is an asset. Strong knowledge of Energy / Utility providers an asset.
  • Expert-level knowledge of EVs, EV Charging Networks, Home EV Charging products and Installation services.
  • Willing to travel up to 50% of the time, as necessary to execute responsibilities of the position.
  • Experience in full-cycle B2B2C sales process, including onboarding and integration, and partnership management.
Responsibilities
  • Grow GM Energy Retail Sales Channels: Dealer Network, E-Commerce, Direct Sales and Partner Sales.
  • Develop sales performance objectives, standards and attainment plans for each of the GM Energy Retail products across GM Energy Retail sales channels.
  • Hire, Develop and Retain a high performing and driven sales team across each of the GM Energy Retail Sales Channels.
  • Develop sales incentive programs and structures to ensure profitable objective attainment within each sales channel.
  • Liaise with Chevrolet, Buick, GMC & Cadillac Sales teams to communicate objectives and programs across all dealer-facing sales team members.
  • Develop CX performance program across all GM Energy Retail sales channels; track and monitor performance and help lead CX resolution process with product and CX team members.
  • Prepares regular sales forecasts, closely monitors performance and marketplace feedback to drive team accountability for revenue achievement, coach team members, and iterate strategy and offering as needed.
