As a Sales Manager, you will help the Sales team establish and maintain trusting relationships with enterprise customers to support and expand our customer base contributing to the continued growth of Boston Dynamics. You will look for new customer relationships and cultivate existing ones by answering their questions and advising them on how Spot can make an impact in their operations. To thrive in this role you must build honest, trusting relationships within the company and with our customers.
Day to day activities:
Create demand for Boston Dynamics products in the industrial applications space with enterprise size customers.
Analyze customer requirements and applications and recommend appropriate product configurations.
Qualify sales leads by establishing good customer contact via telephone, email, personal contact, on-site visits, trade shows, etc. Effectively manage these leads by determining how to best close sales.
Make timely visits to customers/prospects for equipment demonstrations and sales. Extensive travel throughout the defined territory is required.
Plan, coordinate and conduct trade show exhibits, seminars, webinars, and customer training and support. Responsibilities may include assistance at trade shows and / or seminars outside of the assigned geographic territory.
Assist in the development of sales tools including competitive materials, presentations, and other sales resources and assist in the acquisition of sales material including images, sequences, reports, etc.
Skills Desired:
Bachelors in Engineering, Marketing, Business or related field preferred
Minimum 1 years’ sales experience working with and selling to enterprise customers
Experience with direct sales as well as through channel partners preferred.
Demonstrated time management skills and the ability to set priorities
Desire to meet and exceed measurable performance goals with a proven track record of sales success
High integrity and “team first” mentality
Proficient public speaker in small and large events
Ability to multitask in a team-oriented, fast-paced environment
Knowledge and or ability to learn new systems, applications and programs quickly and then to be able to explain to others
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Proficient in Google Suite
Must be able to load, unload, set up equipment up to 70 pounds
Travel:
Willingness to travel up to 60% of the time, including international travel
