Responsibilities
  • Manage and lead a team of logistics operators by providing guidance, support, and performance evaluations.
  • Develop and implement strategies to optimize warehousing operations, inventory management, and distribution processes.
  • Monitor compliance with safety rules, quality standards, and company policies.
  • Analyze key performance indicators to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline logistics processes and improve customer satisfaction.
  • Supervise the planning and scheduling of logistics activities to meet deadlines and customer requirements.
  • Manage relationships with suppliers, carriers, and other external partners.
  • Implement and maintain continuous improvement initiatives, including Lean methodologies.
  • Prepare and present regular reports to management on logistics performance and project progress.
  • Participate in budget planning and cost-control measures for the logistics department.
  • Ensure the proper maintenance and use of logistics equipment and facilities.
  • Handle customer requests and effectively resolve issues related to logistics operations.
