About the job
- Be at least 18 years of age.
- Have at least 2 months of experience working with camp-age children in a professional, personal, or volunteer setting; 1 year is preferred.
- Be First Aid and CPR certified before the first day of camp; some locations may require additional certifications.
- Chaperone field trips, make connections with campers, and monitor their safety and wellness while traveling by bus to multiple stops.
- Actively supervise campers.
- Ensure compliance with camp policies.
- Report and record notable concerns or incidents, including injuries to campers, other staff members, or oneself.
- Track and remain aware of camper allergies and dietary restrictions.
- Have 1 year of experience working with camp-age children in a professional, personal, or volunteer setting.
