Requirements
  • A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
  • Ability to pass a background check is required.
  • An Alaska driver's license is preferred.
Responsibilities
  • Serve as a liaison between coaches and the administration.
  • Maintain computers, printers, scanners, associated devices, and site technology infrastructure, including connections, cables, and routers.
  • Ensure computers and monitors are fully functional, awaiting parts or software, or packaged for shipment to repair.
  • Ensure scanners, printers, and other external devices are connected and functional or awaiting parts or software.
  • Maintain connectivity for all necessary data ports.
  • Map computers to all necessary printers.
  • Maintain workstation connectivity to all applications.
  • Perform server maintenance and backups as needed.
  • Work with site administrators to order new technology supplies throughout the year.
  • Participate in district-wide videoconferences as scheduled.
  • Maintain familiarity with applications on the North Slope Borough School District network and train others in their use.
  • Train new staff in setting up, using, and troubleshooting videoconferencing equipment, LCD projectors, SMART Boards, scanners, and other peripheral devices.
  • Inventory all computers and peripherals, including staff laptops, at the end of the year and complete associated checkout paperwork.
  • Store computers and peripherals in the secure location designated by the Plant Manager and/or Information Technology department.
  • Send computers requiring repair to Information Technology.
  • Submit an activity report and attach photographs when applicable.
