Requirements
  • A minimum of four years of related and verifiable work experience is required.
  • A Master's degree in Communications or Organizational Communications is required, or a Master's degree in another subject with at least 18 graduate hours in an appropriate combination of Business Communications, Communications, Mass Communications, Management Communications, Organizational Communications, or a related discipline from an accredited college or university.
  • Proficiency using software programs such as Microsoft Word, Excel, Keynote, PowerPoint, and Outlook is required.
  • Experience with public speaking, giving presentations, and designing presentations is required.
  • Experience teaching online and on campus is required.
  • Experience using screen-capture web tools or software that allows recording voice and screen is required.
  • Strong organizational, analytical, and interpersonal skills are required.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, including proofreading and editing for grammar and punctuation, are required.
  • The ability to multitask while working independently and collaboratively with other teachers and university staff is required.
  • The ability to interact professionally and constructively with students and staff at all levels is required.
  • The candidate must reside in Florida.
Responsibilities
  • Create an environment of learning through effective teaching skills, maintain a student-centered focus, and stay current with relevant industry standards.
  • Utilize a variety of teaching strategies and encourage active learning.
  • Perform lectures for campus courses and hold scheduled virtual course meetings for online courses through on-campus and online delivery.
  • Interact positively with diverse student populations and provide all students with equal opportunities for learning.
  • Demonstrate a commitment to the industry and maintain knowledge and skill relevancy through continuing education as defined in the faculty development plan.
  • Adhere to the policies and procedures of Full Sail University.
  • Maintain strict confidentiality of student and company information.
  • Adhere to company attendance standards.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
