Additional Job Description:
WVU Medicine, West Virginia University Health System Medical Group (WVUHS Medical Group) is actively recruiting a Urologist at Thomas Health System in Charleston, WV and South Charleston, WV.
Duties: The successful candidate will practice in the areas of outpatient care of both young adults as well general outpatient urology patients.
Qualifications: Applicants must have an MD or DO degree or foreign equivalent and be eligible to obtain an unrestricted West Virginia medical license. Candidates must be board certified/eligible in urology. All qualifications must be met by the time of appointment.
Location: West Virginia’s capital city is perfectly positioned at the confluence of the Kanawha and Elk rivers. It’s also where three major interstates converge, making it a highly accessible destination for visitors looking for an affordable getaway. Charleston boasts the history you’d expect of a capital city, but a growing arts scene and its riverside position makes it a hub for recreation and culture, too.
Benefit Highlights: Employer matched 403b plan, tuition assistance for dependent children, employer paid LTD, STD, and life insurance plans.

We are two hospitals, with more than 30 locations, 450 providers, 1,700 employees, and we have a goal. Working as one, we are striving to be the best community health system in the region we serve. We need people who share that vision to join our team and welcome your application today.
