About the job
- Training from a hospitality school and/or in mixology.
- At least 2 years of experience as a bartender in luxury, lifestyle, and/or nightlife hospitality (such as a rooftop or lounge bar).
- Experience with Paris nightlife and knowledge of its norms.
- Knowledge and proficiency in mixology.
- Fluency in English (bilingual level).
- Familiarity with point-of-sale software.
- Positive, collaborative, and entrepreneurial leadership approach, including customer passion, teamwork, communication, problem-solving, and operational initiative.
- Adaptability, creativity, optimism, innovation, customer orientation, and ability to meet challenging objectives.
- Develop a guest experience consistent with the established guest promise.
- Build guest loyalty through warm, personalized service.
- Help position the bar area as a desirable destination and contribute to its reputation while ensuring it meets established standards.
- Maintain the quality of the bar area's atmosphere.
- Serve beverages while keeping the bar clean and orderly.
- Attend to detail and presentation in every order.
- Prepare ingredients according to recipes.
- Follow alcohol-handling, hygiene, and safety procedures, and ensure beverage items are dated, labeled, and rotated.
- Coordinate daily inventory of bar supplies, submit orders to the supervisor, and assist with receiving deliveries.
- Contribute to daily, holiday, and themed beverage menus in collaboration with the supervisor.
- Ensure bar services run smoothly when the supervisor is absent.
- Clean according to daily and weekly schedules, including washing dishes when needed.
- Help orient new employees in their work area.
- Represent the Heartist and Pullman spirit in guest interactions.
- Maintain personal appearance and follow the hotel's grooming policy.
