Requirements
  • 5-10 years of in-depth knowledge of Java, including recent versions. Strong experience with core Java concepts such as object-oriented programming, multithreading, collections, and exception handling.
  • 5+ years of hands-on experience with Spring Boot for building microservices. Familiarity with Spring framework components like Spring MVC, Spring Data, Spring Security, and Spring Cloud.
  • 4-6 years of experience with integrating third-party APIs and services. Familiarity with RESTful APIs, SOAP, OAuth/OIDC, P2P and brokered integration patterns. Ability to handle authentication, authorization, and data exchange securely and efficiently.
  • 3-5 years of knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and tools such as Jenkins, Nexus. Experience with containerization using Docker and orchestration using AWS Fargate.
  • 3-5 years of experience managing and guiding development teams. Excellent communication skills to interact with stakeholders, team members, and external partners. Ability to handle multiple projects and priorities effectively.
  • 3+ years of proficiency in deploying and managing applications on AWS. Experience with services such as EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, API Gateway, Terraform, and IAM. Knowledge of cloud best practices, including security and cost management.
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • Strong experience communicating and building relationships with both technical teams (development, database, dev-Sec-ops, cloud-ops) and non-technical customers (Digital Marketing and Media & publicity teams, Legal and Data Privacy) to make sure requirements are understood and met.
  • Understanding and ability to implement data security both in motion and at rest to protect consumer data by segregating PII and non PII and applying encryption, access controls and data masking (security and compliance)
  • Full understanding of web development technology such as HTML, Javascript, PHP, Angular, React, CSS, etc
  • Strong knowledge of JAVA, Microservices, Python, and SQL programming skills
  • Experience with Google marketing platforms (GA, GTM, Looker) and cloud platforms (GCP and Azure) a plus
  • Desire and active in staying up to data with latest or emerging technologies, tools, and trends
  • Proficiency with JIRA/Confluence
  • Experienced with Agile and Waterfall development methodologies
  • Experience with Microsoft Office
Responsibilities
  • Defining high-level architecture of the applications, ensuring alignment with business goals. Having cross-domain skills in application, data, integration, infrastructure, and information security and an ability to produce a complete design specification for the requirements for applications.
  • Overseeing the development process, ensuring coding standards and best practices are followed. Implementing critical features and components and conducting code reviews. Integrating third-party services and APIs as needed.
  • Ensuring applications are thoroughly tested (unit testing, integration testing, performance testing). Implementing and monitoring automated testing for applications.
  • Liaising with application teams, business stakeholders, other IT, EA, Legal, Privacy and cloud-ops teams and clients to ensure projects are completed to standard
  • Overseeing maintenance of applications, ensuring they remain up to date with the latest technologies and security patches & vulnerabilities. Troubleshooting and resolving technical issues as they arise.
