Requirements
  • No previous experience is required; on-the-job training is provided toward the Cleaning Operatives Proficiency Certificate.
  • Applicants must provide a Supporting Statement explaining how their skills and experience make them a good candidate; a CV is not accepted as the Supporting Statement.
  • Before appointment, the successful candidate must obtain Protection of Vulnerable Groups scheme membership through Disclosure Scotland and join the relevant scheme.
  • The successful candidate must attend an Induction Training Day before starting.
Responsibilities
  • Clean the school to help ensure pupils and staff can work in a clean and safe environment every school day.
