Requirements
  • A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical or professional experience.
  • Proven software engineering experience commensurate with Junior to Senior expectations, with a primary focus on Python development.
  • Hands-on experience building, testing, and deploying AI-driven applications, large language models, or autonomous agents.
  • Strong proficiency in Python programming and its broader data and artificial intelligence ecosystem.
  • Familiarity with agent development software development kits, such as LangChain, Pydantic AI, Google ADK, or the OpenAI Agents SDK.
  • High proficiency with modern AI coding assistants, such as Claude Code, Cursor, or Antigravity.
  • A solid understanding of Retrieval-Augmented Generation fundamentals, including embeddings, vector stores, and multimodal data processing.
  • A strong understanding of Representational State Transfer application programming interface development and third-party system integrations.
  • Knowledge of data privacy principles, security best practices, and healthcare regulatory requirements, including HIPAA.
  • The ability to operate as a technical generalist across varied business domains.
  • The ability to explain complex artificial intelligence concepts clearly and effectively to non-technical stakeholders.
Responsibilities
  • Design, build, and maintain AI agents and automation workflows using Python across clinical, financial, human resources, and administrative departments.
  • Use modern agent development software development kits and frameworks to build robust, scalable AI applications.
  • Integrate AI solutions with existing enterprise applications and electronic health record systems to enable secure and efficient data exchange.
  • Deploy, host, and manage AI models and applications within cloud infrastructure.
  • Use AI coding assistants to accelerate development timelines and maintain code quality.
  • Ensure AI tools and automated workflows comply with healthcare standards, data privacy requirements, security practices, and HIPAA when handling protected health information.
  • Partner with non-technical stakeholders to gather requirements, scope automation projects, and translate business challenges into actionable AI solutions.
  • Monitor, test, and evaluate emerging AI technologies, models, and industry best practices.
  • Coach, evaluate, develop, and inspire staff, and set expectations and recognize achievements.
  • Manage company resources responsibly and support company policies, procedures, and safety guidelines.
  • Identify problems, involve others in seeking solutions, analyze alternatives, and implement appropriate responses.
