Requirements
  • Maintain valid and active registration with the Ordre des travailleurs sociaux et des thérapeutes conjugaux et familiaux du Québec (OTSTCFQ).
  • Have advanced bilingual proficiency in French and English; the resource must be functional in English.
  • Be continuously available for the full duration of the mandate.
Responsibilities
  • Apply assistance and protection measures ordered by the court or agreed upon through voluntary measures.
  • Assess the situations of children and adolescents to ensure the safety and development of the young people being followed.
  • Develop, review, and adjust intervention plans in close collaboration with families, relatives, and community partners.
  • Write psychosocial reports and rigorously follow up on files in accordance with LPJ standards.
  • Work daily in a bilingual context with a predominantly English-speaking or allophone clientele.
