Requirements
  • Must be at least 18 years of age.

  • Must be able to work inside and outside, on uneven ground, and in environments involving dust, dirt, fumes, gases, chemicals, noise, moving objects, heat, cold, wetness, and humidity.
  • Must be able to drive an automobile or motorized vehicle.
  • Must be able to perform the stated physical demands, including standing, walking, bending, lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, climbing stairs, and occasionally lifting over 75 pounds.
Responsibilities
  • Operate an ice resurfacer and perform general maintenance on the ice resurfacer.
  • Perform general maintenance, janitorial, and related cleaning activities.
  • Enforce building security procedures, including opening and closing the facility.
  • Maintain tools and equipment used in daily operations.
  • Assist in preparing for special events.
  • Attend regularly scheduled work hours and work outside regular hours as necessary.
  • Communicate and interact respectfully with employees, supervisors, individuals from other organizations, and customers.
  • Perform other related functions as assigned to achieve the goals and objectives of the Public Services Division.
