The University of Nevada, Las Vegas invites applications for a full time Assistant Professor-in-Residence in the Department of Healthcare Administration & Policy in the School of Public Health [R0152818].

ROLE of the POSITION

This is a 9-month, non-tenure track position beginning Fall 2026 or Spring 2027. 

Background in healthcare finance and accounting, healthcare payment systems, health information and technology systems, and/or change management, is preferred. The applicant will carry a 4/4 teaching load. 

Applicants should also be able to teach undergraduate/graduate courses in the U.S. healthcare system, organizational management and/or healthcare marketing. 

Service and community activities also required.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

• This position requires a PhD degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Management, Finance, Accounting, or a closely related field from an accredited college or university as recognized by the United States Department of Education and/or the Council on Higher Education Accreditation (CHEA) and at least two years of teaching experience in related fields. 

• University or college teaching experience is preferred.

• Credentials must be obtained prior to the start date.
