Requirements
  • A bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, business, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Five or more years of progressively responsible experience in marketing communications or a conversion-focused marketing environment.
  • Demonstrated experience in project management, vendor coordination, and budget oversight.
  • Experience with CRM and marketing platforms.
  • Working knowledge of marketing channels, including digital advertising, email, content, web, and print.
  • Familiarity with sales or enrollment funnels and how marketing supports prospect movement from awareness through decision.
  • Strong analytical skills and comfort using data to inform decisions and measure results.
  • Ability to manage competing priorities across multiple stakeholders without losing quality or momentum.
  • Demonstrated ability to build trust and work effectively across organizational lines in a complex, multi-stakeholder environment.
  • Ability to supervise creative, communications, and technical personnel and manage complex projects with dependencies, deadlines, budgets, and outside resources.
  • Ability to implement marketing and communication principles and strategies in the execution of video projects.
  • Ability to initiate ideas, develop concepts, and review process effectiveness to ensure professional standards and high quality.
  • Ability to assess internal client needs and suggest appropriate measures to meet those needs.
  • Ability to work effectively and independently with internal and external constituencies.
  • Ability to operate in an environment requiring relationship management and consensus-building.
Responsibilities
  • Own the Enrollment Marketing and Communications intake process, ensuring incoming requests are tracked, prioritized, and combined where appropriate; manage workflow standards and team accountability, efficiency, and consistency; and surface volume patterns, conflicts, and gaps to leadership.
  • Coordinate campaign calendars, production schedules, and campaign deployment across channels to streamline reviews and approvals.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for vendor relationships and statements of work, including contract management, performance accountability, and deliverable oversight.
  • Manage the unit's operating budget in partnership with the Director, including forecasting, order processing, payment, and expenditure tracking.
  • Establish intake requirements and determine whether requests are ready for production.
  • Route, prioritize, delay, redirect, or escalate requests based on capacity and enrollment impact.
  • Coordinate social media workflow and content calendar operations.
  • Oversee promotional item and swag workflow and vendor coordination.
  • Maintain operating dashboards for requests, campaign volume, deadlines, and capacity.
  • Develop and maintain performance reporting that tracks campaign results, project output, and partner satisfaction to inform decisions and demonstrate unit impact.
  • Translate marketing and communications needs from partner departments, schools, colleges, and other supported units into defined projects, timelines, deliverables, and responsibilities.
  • Support and execute integrated marketing campaigns for assigned enrollment initiatives and partner departments across digital, email, content, web, and print.
  • Work with Enrollment Marketing and Communications leadership to align marketing execution with enrollment goals, including hands-on production and execution support.
  • Monitor campaign metrics and prepare performance summaries, recommendations, and operational insights for leadership review.
  • Supervise direct reports and student workers, providing clear direction, regular coaching, and performance feedback.
  • Represent Enrollment Marketing and Communications in cross-campus meetings and leadership conversations, carrying the unit's institutional perspective and deciding when to act independently or consult leadership.
  • Build working relationships with departments and teams within Enrollment Management and Academic Engagement, schools and colleges, and departments across the university.
  • Provide marketing support and guidance to campus partners by connecting their needs to the unit's capacity and timelines.
  • Share tools, templates, and practices that raise the quality and consistency of communications across supported units.
  • Oversee operational execution of enrollment marketing campaigns to ensure consistency with university brand standards, communications and enrollment objectives, and editorial quality expectations.
  • Contribute to documentation and processes that support consistency and scalability as the unit grows.
  • Maintain accuracy, accessibility, and audience-centered communication across deliverables.
Desired Qualifications
  • Higher education experience.
  • Prior supervisory experience, including setting clear expectations, giving honest feedback, and developing people.
  • Enrollment marketing experience.
