About the job

Requirements
  • Four to five years of Oracle HCM experience, with proven ownership of interface design workstreams on at least two implementations through UAT sign-off.
  • Experience owning and managing an interface catalogue of 10 or more integrations on a single engagement.
  • Demonstrated developer quality assurance experience, including reviewing built integrations against specifications, raising formal defects, and managing rework to sign-off.
  • Ability to manage third-party system teams and escalate through project governance when external dependencies block progress.
  • Ability to present integration workstream status, risk, and readiness to client IT Directors and project leadership.
  • IT architecture credibility, including presenting integration design decisions to client IT architects and holding discussions at a technical authority level.
  • Ability to manage external system teams outside the employer's control and escalate effectively when they block the programme.
  • Ability to translate interface catalogue status, risk, and readiness into a format project leadership can use to make decisions.
  • Ability to implement an interface design document sign-off process that prevents downstream defects without creating bureaucratic delays.
  • Ability to own the integration workstream end-to-end without requiring functional or technical hand-holding.
  • Ability to review Oracle Integration Cloud developer builds against specifications, raise formal defects, and manage rework to resolution.
Responsibilities
  • Own the integration catalogue from the start, produce the full interface inventory within the first two weeks of the design phase, classify each interface by pattern, direction, criticality, and third-party owner, and maintain it as the project's single source of truth.
  • Lead integration requirements workshops, extract trigger conditions, error-handling expectations, service-level agreement requirements, and business consequences of failure, and produce workshop outputs for interface design document authoring.
  • Produce and own all Interface Design Documents at a level of precision that enables an Oracle Integration Cloud developer to build without functional re-engagement, and manage client IT sign-off before development begins.
  • Drive interface prioritisation and phasing by recommending development sequence based on go-live criticality, third-party readiness, and data migration dependencies, and escalate when a third-party team blocks sign-off.
  • Review and approve Oracle Integration Cloud developer builds against Interface Design Document specifications, log formal defects referencing specific document fields, and distinguish design deviations from legitimate technical implementation decisions.
  • Own integration user acceptance testing by designing the test plan, coordinating third-party test environment availability, and driving defect resolution to formal sign-off.
Desired Qualifications
  • Oracle Cloud Platform Application Integration 2025 Professional certification (Oracle Integration Cloud certification); at Senior Interface Designer level, this is described as an expected credential.
  • Oracle Global Human Resources Cloud Implementation Professional certification; Core HR module certification enables interface leads to independently validate data availability against the Oracle HCM object model without escalation to the functional team.
  • Oracle Fusion Cloud Applications HCM Process Essentials certification, confirming cross-module process understanding.
  • Experience designing interfaces between Oracle HCM and Oracle ERP, or between Oracle HCM and third-party payroll, human resources information systems, or access management systems in APAC.
