About the job

Requirements
  • At least 5 years of experience in demanding technology environments.
  • Significant experience owning a product, company, or major product area end to end.
  • A track record of creating structure from ambiguity and making decisions with incomplete information.
  • Strong product judgment and the ability to clearly explain why something should or should not be built.
  • Strong technical understanding and the ability to work directly with engineers and machine learning teams.
  • Experience launching products and iterating quickly based on real user feedback.
  • Fluency in English and French.
  • Willingness to travel regularly to customers across Europe.
  • Eligibility for the required security clearances, including NATO levels.
Responsibilities
  • Define the path to European coverage by deciding which countries, segments, and use cases to pursue first and how to expand.
  • Set the strategy, goals, and success metrics for the Cities & Critical Infrastructure vertical.
  • Decide where Orasio should invest and which user segments and problems create the most value.
  • Make explicit trade-offs, prioritize, and take responsibility for outcomes across teams.
  • Identify opportunities proactively rather than waiting for requests.
  • Spend significant time with operators, investigators, security teams, infrastructure managers, and decision-makers to understand their work.
  • Solve high-value problems rather than implementing customer-specific requests.
  • Translate complex operational needs into clear requirements and intuitive workflows.
  • Work closely with Design, Engineering, Machine Learning, Platform, Sales, and Deployment teams, and discuss architecture, application programming interfaces, computer vision pipelines, video management system integrations, latency, and graphics processing unit capacity.
  • Build scalable capabilities for multi-camera investigations, real-time alerting, search, ingestion, mapping, permissions, and auditability, using lessons from deployments to create reusable capabilities.
  • Treat reliability and performance as product features.
  • Measure adoption, user satisfaction, investigation time saved, alert quality, and system performance.
  • Continue iterating until expected outcomes are achieved, not merely until features ship.
  • Build security, privacy, auditability, General Data Protection Regulation compliance, and EU AI Act compliance into every product decision.
  • Work with senior public-sector and enterprise stakeholders while staying close to end users.
Desired Qualifications
  • Entrepreneurial experience.
  • Zero-to-one product building experience.
  • Experience with artificial intelligence or computer vision.
  • Experience with hardware or edge computing.
  • Experience in cities, transport, energy, public safety, or defense.
