  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education, experience or training
  • A minimum of 6 years directly relevant work experience in IT Procurement
  • Work experience directly with Hardware, Software, Cloud/IaaS, and Security (HW and SW) sourcing including experience negotiating strategic multi-year contracts with large Technology suppliers
  • Excellent communication and influencing skills
  • Actively researches market trends and utilizes best practices to support sourcing activities
  • The ability to create, socialize, and manage category strategies
  • Experience using advanced negotiation tactics; proven success negotiating multi-million dollar contracts
  • Advanced understanding of standard contract structures and key terms
  • Proficiency with Microsoft applications, including advanced level PowerPoint and Excel
  • An ability to think Globally and work with an international culturally-diverse team
  • Passion for the NIKE brand
Responsibilities
  • Work with cross functional teams leading category strategies, category implementation and collaborator engagement
  • Define scope of the category and derive insights from global and regional enterprise strategic planning and business driver analysis
  • Synthesize industry trends, import external insights, conduct effective benchmarking, develop enterprise strategies for optimized sourcing of products and services from various sources
  • Deliver global category strategy that fits global and regional category needs
  • Negotiate multi-million-dollar, multi-year deals with some of the largest technology companies across the globe
  • Drive implementation of complex, multi-regional strategies through global/geo partnerships
  • Identify and deliver initiatives/saving pipelines through internal and external partnerships that align with category strategies
  • Demonstrate a solid understanding of the technology market, sourcing strategies, and ability to negotiate complex commercial terms
