About This Position

We are looking for an experienced Senior Accountant to join our Finance team. Reporting to VP, Finance this role will be providing support across our Finance functions.

This is a remote position that can be done from anywhere in the U.S. 

Salary Range: $130,000 - $150,000

Your Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

• All accounting entries, balance sheet reconciliations, cash forecasting and required reporting relating to revenue and billing 

• Primary finance contact for customer queries and Firstbase sales and CS teams

• Manage accounts receivable

• Payroll (worldwide) including commission calculations

• Assist with technical queries and review of policy documents as required

• US taxes

• Finance projects including Netsuite implementation and ad hoc finance tasks as required

Role Requirements:

• 5 + Years of relevant experience

• Bachelor’s Degree

• Considerable US GAAP experience and CPA Preferred

• US and Canada tax experience

• Experience of accounting for multiple business units in multiple countries and currencies

• Excellent computer skills, and familiarity with accounting software stack (Netsuite - required, Tipalti, Bill.com, Expensify) and advanced Excel skills

• Ability to communicate financial matters to non-financial staff

• Experience with external audit and liaising with external auditors

• High energy, high motivation and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and effectively

• An ability to work well under pressure and adapt to changing priorities

• An attention to detail, excellent planning and organization skills
