Requirements
  • Must hold and maintain current certification as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) issued by the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB).
  • Must participate in the company’s background check process.
  • A high school diploma or GED is required.
  • Must have reliable transportation.
  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • Must be willing to obtain CPR and First Aid certification.
  • Must be willing to obtain a tuberculosis test annually.
  • Must be physically able to get down on the floor and stand up repeatedly, lift up to 50 pounds, and run or move quickly as needed to interact with and protect the children.
  • Must be able to follow and carry out detailed instructions and perform repetitive tasks precisely.
  • Must be able to record data on a mobile device and navigate digital applications.
  • Must have written and verbal communication skills.
  • Must demonstrate cultural competency and remain flexible and open-minded.
Responsibilities
  • Provide direct client care in one-to-one and group settings using intensive teaching and natural environment training.
  • Follow behavioral skill acquisition and behavior reduction protocols in each client's individualized treatment plan developed by a BCBA/BC.
  • Collect, record, and summarize data on observable client behavior.
  • Assist with parent and caregiver training in line with each client's individualized treatment and behavior reduction protocols.
  • Complete documentation on time and according to established procedures.
  • Communicate client progress to parents and caregivers as instructed by a BCBA/BC.
  • Use safe and appropriate procedures when working with clients and report critical incidents and safety concerns.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work and therapy environment.
  • Assist a BCBA/BC with preparing client materials, behavior reduction assessments, and skills acquisition.
