Day: 8 hours

Job Description

Responsibilities:

• Perform routine MRI exams, ensuring accurate positioning and protocol compliance

• Provide patient care consistent with MRI safety and comfort standards

• Screen patients and staff for MRI safety in accordance with departmental policy

• Enforces Zone safety compliance

• Develop proficiency with MRI workflow, scanner operation, and contrast administration

• Demonstrate and maintain competency in all assigned equipment and procedures at this level

Qualifications:

• 2+ years as a licensed Radiologic Technologist or 0+ years with ARRT (MR) or ARMRIT license

• Completion of an accredited radiologic technology or MRI program

• Complete required CEUs to maintain certification and licensure

Licenses/Certification Requirements

• ARRT (MR) or ARMRIT certification required upon hire

• Technologists cross training into MR must obtain ARRT (MR) within 12 months of position acceptance

• Venipuncture certification required

• BLS

Ages of Patients Served - This position is responsible for the assessment, treatment and care of patients of adolescent, adult and geriatric patients.

Addendum

Performance Expectations: Must receive an overall “Meets Expectations” or higher on performance reviews.

Salary Range:

$75.56 - $95.92 USD Hour
