Kurt Miller announces departure from QVC Group and takes on Head of Fulfillment Excellence position at Wayfair. Kurt Miller has joined Wayfair as Head of Fulfilment Excellence. He was previously Director of Engineering & Process Optimisation and has also worked at Amazon and PKC Group. In a LinkedIn post, he said: "As I begin this next chapter, I've spent a lot of time reflecting on an incredible five-year journey with QVC, where I had the privilege of leading the Engineering and Operational Excellence team." "I am incredibly grateful for the opportunity to have worked alongside so many talented individuals throughout my time at QVC. Together, we navigated challenges, drove meaningful improvements, built strong teams, and accomplished things I will remain proud of for years to come." He added: "More importantly, I leave with friendships, lessons, and memories that extend far beyond the work itself. To the colleagues, leaders, and team members who were part of that journey - thank you. Your partnership, support, and commitment made these past five years incredibly rewarding, and I will always appreciate my time at QVC." "I'm now looking forward to this next chapter with Wayfair and the opportunity to lead fulfilment excellence. I'm excited to work alongside another talented organisation as we continue advancing operational excellence, process innovation, and the future of fulfillment. Grateful for the journey behind me and energised for what's ahead!" 2026 RTIH Innovation Awards The awards are now open for entries and celebrate global retail technology innovation in a fast moving omnichannel world. Its winners will be revealed at the 2026 RTIH Innovation Awards Ceremony, taking place at The HAC in Central London on Wednesday, 4th November. Its 2025 hall of fame entrants were revealed during a sold out event which took place at The HAC on 16th October and consisted of a drinks reception, three course meal, and awards ceremony presided over by award winning comedian, actress and writer Tiff Stevenson. In his welcome speech, Scott Thompson, Founder and Editor, RTIH, said: "This is the awards' fifth year as a physical event. We started off with just 30 people at the South Place Hotel not far from here, then moved to London Bridge Hotel, then The Barbican, and last year RIBA's HQ in the West End." "But I'm conscious of the fact that, to quote the legend that is Taylor Swift, You're only as hot as your last hit, baby. So, this year we've moved to our biggest venue yet, and also pulled in our largest number of entries to date and broken attendance records." He added: "This year's submissions have without doubt been our best yet. To quote one of the judges: The examples of innovative developments across both traditional and digital retail spaces were truly remarkable." Congratulations to its winners, and a big thank you to its sponsors, judging panel, the legend that is Tiff Stevenson, and all those who attended its 2025 gathering.

QVC cuts two president roles in post-bankruptcy overhaul.

QVC cuts two president roles in post-bankruptcy overhaul. WEST CHESTER, PA - QVC Group (Nasdaq: QVCG) is eliminating two president-level positions and reshuffling senior management following its emergence from Chapter 11 bankruptcy, extending a leadership overhaul at one of Chester County's most prominent corporate employers as it seeks to restructure operations and its growth strategy. Stacy Bowe, president of HSN Brand and U.S. merchandising, and Alex Wellen, QVC Group president and chief growth officer, will step down Sept. 4, according to a Form 8-K filed with the Securities and Exchange Commission on Aug. 27. The company determined Aug. 21 that the president positions overseeing its QxH and Growth businesses would be eliminated as part of what it described as an operational realignment following its financial restructuring. Discover more Downloading Digital Travel Guides Subscribing To Digital Newspaper Outlets The changes deepen a management shakeup that began after QVC emerged from bankruptcy in early August. David Rawlinson II left as president and chief executive officer Aug. 7, with former CEO Mike George returning to lead the company on an interim basis. Wellen had responsibility for QVC's growth strategy across U.S. social selling, streaming, digital operations, new business development and platform distribution. His departure eliminates a senior position focused specifically on businesses QVC has pursued to diversify beyond its traditional television-shopping model. Under Wellen, QVC became a top seller on TikTok Shop U.S. and expanded its presence on streaming and other digital platforms, according to the regulatory filing. The company did not specify in the filing how responsibility for those operations will be reassigned after his departure. Bowe oversaw buying, planning, programming and brand marketing for QVC U.S. and HSN. Her responsibilities also included inventory management and changes to the company's merchandise assortment. QVC is also preparing another senior leadership transition next year. Mike Fitzharris will remain president of QVC U.S. Brand and chief operating officer before moving into the roles of president of QVC International and chief operations officer when current international president Aidan O'Meara retires in spring 2027. Fitzharris will cease serving as president of QVC U.S. when that transition occurs, according to the filing. The elimination of the QxH and Growth president positions concentrates QVC's senior management structure as the company begins operating under its post-bankruptcy organization. The restructuring comes as QVC attempts to balance its established television retail operations with investments in social commerce, streaming and other digital distribution channels. QVC cuts debt by $5 billion, names interim CEO. WEST CHESTER, PA - QVC Group, Inc. (Nasdaq: QVCG) emerged from Chapter 11 this month after reducing debt by more than $5 billion and securing a $600 million asset-based lending facility, while longtime executive Mike George returned as interim chief executive officer following David Rawlinson's departure. The restructuring gives the West Chester-based retailer a substantially lighter debt load as it attempts to expand beyond traditional television shopping into social platforms, streaming, e-commerce and physical retail. The new lending facility is led by funds managed by Strategic Value Partners LLC and its affiliates, along with Oaktree Capital. QVC Group's common stock has been approved for Nasdaq trading under the symbol QVCG. Rawlinson, who had served as president and CEO since 2021, stepped down as the company completed the restructuring. George previously spent nearly 16 years as president and CEO of QVC Group, formerly known as Qurate Retail Group. He currently serves on the boards of AutoZone and Ralph Lauren and previously held leadership positions at Dell and McKinsey & Co. He said the company would continue evolving its shopping model while the board searches for a permanent CEO. Rawlinson's tenure included QVC Group's push into live social shopping and streaming as the company contended with declining traditional television audiences, tariffs, a major warehouse fire and its debt burden. The restructuring also brings a wholesale change to QVC Group's board.
