About the job
- At least 3–5 years in a leadership role.
- At least 10 years of experience in industrial services or maintenance in the mining industry.
- At least 3–5 years operating high-pressure pumps and tooling.
- A valid Class G driver's license is required.
- A negative pre-employment drug and alcohol test is required.
- BSO or Common Safety Orientation certification is required.
- Strong interpersonal and written and verbal communication skills are required.
- Strong organization, prioritization, and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail, are required.
- A safety-focused approach to people and equipment is required.
- Ability to work outdoors in harsh weather conditions is required.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards, and stay updated on local, provincial, and federal regulations.
- Oversee field operations and projects to ensure efficiency, reliability, safety, and cost-effectiveness.
- Serve as the main point of contact for Sudbury Industrial Cleaning support services.
- Coordinate manpower and equipment, optimizing resource allocation.
- Provide leadership and strategic direction, and align and hold employees accountable for growth and development.
- Build and maintain customer relationships, proactively addressing and resolving concerns.
- Provide regular updates to direct reports and be on call 24/7 for emergencies.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- A Class AZ or DZ driver's license is preferred.
- First Aid, H2S Alive, Ground Disturbance, Fall Protection, and Confined Space certifications are significant assets.
