- A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
- At least 3 years of experience in a truck service or automotive environment is required, preferably in a supervisory role.
- Strong leadership and people management skills are required to motivate teams.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills are required.
- Basic knowledge of financial performance metrics, including profit and loss management, is required.
- Proficiency with computer systems and software applicable to service tracking and inventory management is required.
- Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, is required.
- A valid driver's license is required.
- Assist in managing the overall operations of the Truck Services department in compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Supervise and train staff while promoting teamwork, accountability, and customer service excellence.
- Monitor workflow and support troubleshooting, diagnosing, and repairing heavy-duty trucks and trailers.
- Ensure equipment is properly maintained and safety standards are followed.
- Assist with inventory management and ordering supplies, ensuring services are performed timely and accurately.
- Engage with customers to address concerns and provide prompt solutions.
- Help achieve financial goals by monitoring expenses and supporting revenue growth initiatives.
- Perform the Truck Services Manager's duties in their absence.
- A degree in management or a related field is preferred.
- Supervisory experience in a truck service or automotive environment is preferred.
