Requirements
  • Graduate of an AMA-approved Radiologic Technology program or equivalent.
  • ARRT(R) certification and New Hampshire Board of Medical Imaging licensure are required.
  • Strong multitasking skills, attention to detail, and proficiency with Radiology Information System and Picture Archiving and Communication System (RIS/PACS) systems.
Responsibilities
  • Perform MRI examinations including trauma, orthopedic, fluoroscopic, contrast, and invasive procedures.
  • Review patient medical information, reconcile orders, and obtain necessary consents and documentation.
  • Inspect images for quality and present results to radiologists.
  • Assist with invasive procedures and prepare and administer contrast according to protocol.
  • Screen patients for MRI safety and use safety equipment appropriately.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of MRI technologies and protocols.
  • Train and mentor new personnel as needed.
Desired Qualifications
  • ARRT(MR) certification is preferred.
  • One to two years of MRI experience is preferred.
