Requirements
  • A Bachelor of Science in Nursing from an accredited program is required.
  • A Master’s degree in Nursing in the specialty of practice is required.
  • Experience working as a Nurse Practitioner is required.
  • A current New York State Registered Nurse license is required.
  • A current New York State Nurse Practitioner license in the area of practice is required.
  • Current Basic Life Support and Advanced Cardiac Life Support certifications through the American Heart Association are required.
Responsibilities
  • Provide outpatient services, quality care, and follow-up for a busy cardiology practice.
  • Educate patients, provide services and care, and empower them to stay healthy.
  • Work with the team to optimize patients’ health and wellness.
Desired Qualifications
  • Experience as a Nurse Practitioner within a cardiology healthcare setting.
  • National certification as a Nurse Practitioner in the specialty of practice.
