Investment, consolidation, distribution agreements, accreditations, executive changes, and more, are happening every day in the specialty pharmacy industry. The following are just a few of the many recent activities during the past month. AOM Infusion plans to acquire PromptCare Infusion, Healthcare Dealflow is the first to report. Neither party has issued a press announcement. AOM Infusion is a leading provider of specialty infusion therapy that is backed by private equity firm Revelstoke Capital Partners. PromptCare Infusion is a Waud Capital Partners-backed national provider of respiratory services and home and alternate site infusion therapies. According to a Massachusetts Health Policy Commission filing, AOM's subsidiary, AOM PC Purchaser, LLC, will acquire all equity interests in PromptCare Infusion Buyer, Inc. from PromptCare Intermediate, LP. Flexpoint Ford, a specialist private equity investment firm focused on financial services and adjacent verticals, announced the successful exit of its investment in ArtesRx, LLC to Linden Capital Partners. ArtesRx was established in 2023 by Flexpoint Ford and Dom Meffe, then a Senior Advisor to Flexpoint, to acquire, scale and support pharmacy businesses that serve complex patient populations. CareMed, owned by PharMerica, has been selected by BioCryst Pharmaceuticals, Inc. as a national pharmacy partner for Orladeyo (berotralstat), an oral treatment used to prevent attacks of hereditary angioedema (HAE) in adults and pediatric patients 2 years and older. Seven Bridges/CarePartners Pharmacy announced that Scholar Rock's muscle-targeted treatment for SMA, recently approved by the Food and Drug Administration, is now available at Seven Bridges Specialty/CarePartners Pharmacy as part of a limited distribution network. Enzor brings over 20 years of experience building and scaling specialty pharmacy programmes within academic and health system enterprises. She joins from Thyme Care, where she served as vice president of pharmacy operations. Previously, she led Vanderbilt Health Pharmacy Solutions, where she developed health-system-owned specialty pharmacies for multiple organisations. At Longitude Rx, Enzor will oversee enterprise operations, implementation, service delivery, and partner performance as the company expands beyond its founding members. Her priorities include accelerating speed to therapy, standardising operations, and helping health systems manage specialty pharmacy economics.
